Our wedding is fast approaching. We’re excited and happy for the thought that you’ll spend this day with us. This is going to be a bit emotional, touching, and heart-warming. But also a crazy party. Guaranteed.

Venue
We’re going to get married and party in the same place – DZiK in Warsaw.

Please be there at 3:30pm.
We recommend taking a taxi, there’s really no place to park there.
DZiK is a place dear to our hearts, in the middle of Mokotów (kinda like Kreuzberg but cleaner – for Berliners). We’ve spent countless hours there dancing to balkan music. We’re delighted to be able to share this place with you.
If you can, please try not to forget the invitations. You’re going to make it through the security, no worries.

Food & Drinks
This is a Polish wedding, you will get stuffed. But while sending your RSVP, please let us know about your preferences – if you’d like to eat meat, vegetarian or vegan.
You can always change, no worries. It’s really just about having a rough idea on how much of what we should prepare. There will be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
If you’re allergic to any food – do let us know.
Gifts
Gifts are always welcome, but please do not bring us alcohol or flowers. Generally, an envelope is likely the best idea.
If you really really want to give us something else, it’d be our pleasure. But please make sure it’s not like a refrigerator. We still need to transport it to Berlin.
Hotels & stays
For the people from outside of Warsaw, we’ve prepared some lists on AirBnB and Booking – nice places in nice areas, rather cheap and nearby the wedding venue. You know how this works – the sooner you book the better the price. Most of times.
Dresscode
The place is an old villa, with a beautiful wooden interior and a big garden. We are going to start in the garden, it might be difficult for anyone wearing heels. All in all – we’re not a 19th century royal family, so you don’t need to stress about the dress code too much. Wear a tie if you feel like it. It’s a wedding, you know the drill.
Photos
We’d love to see the party through your eyes.
We’ll prepare a QR code for you to scan during the wedding. No worries – no app install required. You’ll just be able to share the photos you make directly with us through a common folder.
So if you’re grabbing your phone to make a photo during the wedding (and please do that!), do make sure to share it :).

How we met..
We met at a Kayah and Goran Bregović concert in Warsaw (balkan music with a Polish twist). On that day, Mateusz saved Marta’s number as “This is the Marta”. Marta was captivated by the sparkle and joy in Mateusz’s eyes. And so it remained, that we would stumble through life together, hand in hand, into the warm and vibrant climates of our own music.
